Tomb of Princess Nyai Andongsari, Cancing Lamongan

Lamongan .:: Patih tomb of the famous mother of the Majapahit Kingdom Patih Gajah Mada. The tomb is often called the tomb of “Mbah Ratu”. Tomb of Queen Mbah can be accessed via the provincial road route Babat Jombang.

Cancing village is a village located in the middle of teak forests in the subdistrict of  Ngimbang,  there  are  a high  hill about 100 metersin the south of the village road Girip Cancing. Hill is pretty cool because it shaded by  several  trees of teak  and species fiscus alarge trunk and the leaves are very shady. Just above the hill there isa similar  building in one hermitage that the building containedGraveyard Andong Sari Dewi, which is the mother of  MahapatihGajah Mada.

The building is well maintained and clean that every day is manage and maintained  by Mbah Sulaiman  a caretaker of the tomb. This isphysical evidence of the existence of the origin of Gajah Mada.According to Mbah Sulaiman existence of these tombs is a hill thatused to be the ruins of the Sari Dewi Andong who was expelledfrom the Majapahit because of envy of the empress dara DaraPetak and Orange because it was feared to have a son. Mount is the place where Goddess Andongsari spent his days until finallygiving birth,  but unfortunately died instantly, so Joko Modo as a childdoes not know his mother.  Goddess Andongsari  buried  there and is still maintained and well cared for.
